Impact

The Downtown Sausalito Association focuses on two areas - demand creation and infrastructure improvements. Our impact is visible throughout downtown: from the installation of vibrant hanging flower baskets and the lighting of Tracy Way, to the design of clear, accessible wayfinding maps and signage which will connect restaurants, hotels, shops, parks, and transportation.

DSA’s work includes launching signature events such as Dogs by the Bay, while partnering with local organizations to bring beloved traditions like Holiday by the Bay and other community gatherings to life. These events help activate downtown and strengthen its sense of place. Additional improvements, such as the placement of café tables and chairs in the Ferry Plaza, create more inviting public spaces where people can gather, relax, and enjoy the waterfront.

Our biggest first year accomplishment is the creation of this website. We hope you enjoy it and return many times to learn about Sausalito’s many events and activities.
