Presented by the City of Sausalito's Parks and Recreation Department and Sausalito Chamber of Commerce, A Toast to Sausalito, features a Beer, Wine, & Spirits Festival, interactive art and family friendly activities, local vendors and merchants, and live music. 

This event is free for all to attend. Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival sampling wristbands are available for purchase (only 1,000 available)!

The booth fee is $75. The option to rent a table, chair, and tent from us is $125.

Last year we sampled wine, beer, spirits, mixed cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and mixers! Pouring samples at our event is free; in appreciation for your contribution to our event, we'll provide a 10x10' tent, 6' table, and a chair for each booth.

We are accepting a limited number of food vendors in each category. If your application is accepted, we will send you an invitation to register via email by August 19th. 

The booth fee is $100-$200, depending on type of service. The option to rent a table, chair, and tent from us is $125.

Sausalito Parks and Recreation and the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce are working hard to make the 2025 Toast bigger and better than ever! We want to make this our signature event of the year and are excited to partner and collaborate with you!

The 2024 Toast event had an amazing turnout with over 3,000 people in attendance; with such positive feedback, we are expecting upwards of 4,000–5,000 people in 2025. We have already received 90 applications for beer, wine, spirit, art, and food vendors and will be accepting upwards of 150 total vendors. Please feel free to share the sponsorship packet with any interested parties. You can direct new artists, makers, or businesses to this website to apply as a vendor.  

This event is our most expensive of the year and costs $80,000 to produce. We are confident that every penny spent is worth it, especially for the variety of community fun being offered! Currently, we have $5,000 in sponsorship funds, and our goal is to reach $30,000, but we need your support. Our marketing campaigns are starting up shortly, and we would love to get your logo and business's name on all our marketing materials.

Bought your tasting wristband already? Visit a wristband booth with the QR code you were emailed to pick up your wristbands and tasting glass. 

Get ahead of it and sign the waiver. All participants are required to sign the waiver. Upon checkout you will receive a waiver link for each wristband purchased, click it, sign it, and save time!

    • Pick one of our 60 matchbox cars and send it down 120ft of track

      Hula Hoop Dance Lessons (FREE)

      • This 15-minute dance lesson lets you create expressive movements while manipulating hoops through body based and off-body tricks

      Community Art Projects

      Create collaborative art! No experience necessary. 

      Community Mosaic 

      • Paint a section of the 5'x6' Mosaic-- the image will be revealed as the day progresses

      Color Me Zen 

      • Find the large coloring sheets throughout the event and color as much as you want.
      • Take a moment to find your Zen; just try to stay within the lines
      • Location: throughout the event

      Chalk It Up 

      • Find the chalk stations throughout the event and follow the prompts
      • Location: on the ground throughout the event

      Artists and designers are encouraged to submit their design for the 2026 t-shirt , which will commemorate A Toast to Sausalito. All submissions will be voted on by attendees at this years 2025 event. The winning design will be announced at the end of the event. The winner of the contest will receive a free t-shirt and two $50 tasting tickets to next year's Toast to Sausalito!

      T-Shirt Contest Design Guidelines

      • Include in your design the phrases "A Toast to Sausalito" and "Get Sausy, Stay Salty"; 
      • Use no more than three colors in your design.
      • Specify what color shirt should feature your design.
      • Be wholly original and use no copyrighted material in your graphics.
      • AI generated Art will not be considered.
      • Be clear and legible; wording may be added later by Sausalito Parks and Recreation.
      • Limit size to no larger than 12" x 12" on the front of a shirt.
      • Email an image file of your design (.jpg, .png, .pdf, .ai) to recreation@sausalito.gov no later than Wednesday, October 16.

      The winning artist grants the City of Sausalito the rights to the design, including any modifications thereof, to be used in the marketing of the event.

       Interested in volunteering for the Toast? 

      • All Volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt and meal ticket. Anyone volunteering for a 3+ hour shift (and is 21+) will also receive a free sample wristband and cup ($85 value for all).

      • What is A Toast to Sausalito?
        A Toast to Sausalito is paying homage to the old Caledonia St. fair and Taste of Sausalito Events of years past. We want to celebrate the great things we've done, are doing, and plan to do. Sausalito residents, community members, and transplants love art, music, and libations, so we want to bring back the fun to Caledonia St. and have a toast to those who came before us and gave us the blueprint to have a rip roaring good time!

      This event is free to attend and open to the public. Beverage tasting wristbands to participate in the Beer, Wine & Sprits festival can be purchased here. 

      • I bought a tasting wristband. Now what?                               
        You will be emailed a QR code. From12:30pm-4pm on the event day, check in at one of the wristband booths with your QR code to pick up your wristband and commemorative tasting glass. Then visit any of the beverage booths for samples from 1-5pm. If you can't find that email, our team can look up your order by last name of the purchaser.  
      • Are dogs/pets allowed at this event?
        We love your dog and love seeing you love your dog, but we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends home. This event involves crowds, glass, and food, which can pose a danger to your pet. 
      •  How do I get to the event? Where can I park?
        Carpooling, cycling, walking, and ferrying are your best options. 
        • A ferry ride to Sausalito, gets you .5 miles away from the event entrance (Caledonia St. and Johnson St.).
        • Bike racks will be next to the wristband booth at Johnson & Caledonia St. Bring your own bike lock. Bikes are not allowed in the street festival.
        • Parking is limited in Sausalito. There are5 Parking lots in town, street parking, and metered parking spots throughout town. Please do not park in residential neighborhoods. Regular parking rates and posted rules apply.
          • Lot #5 will be used for vendor parking 10am-noon, then will reopen to the public. 
        • Free event parking will be at 1-3 Harbor Dr.  which includes a shuttle to/from the event 12:30-5:30pm.
        • Sausalito residents aged 60+ can get a free ride from CARSS volunteers

      • What is the street closure schedule?

      Caledonia Street from Johnson to Bee St. will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m Saturday, October 18. 

      The cross streets (Litho, Turney, and Pine) will be closed to through traffic from Bridgeway to Bonita from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

      Locust between Caledonia and Bonita Streets will be closed to through traffic for stage construction from 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18.  

      • What beverages are being offered?
        • Find the businesses participating in the Beer, Wine, and Spirits (& Non-alcoholic) Festival HERE.
        • Cocktails, beer, and wine will be available for individual purchase from the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce booth.
        • NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL WILL BE PERMITTED AT THIS EVENT.
        • Please bring your sustainable water vessel! We will have a water bottle refill station near Locust & Caledonia intersection. Sausalito Parks and Recreation will sell aluminum water bottles at the wristband booths.
