| Living with Mountain Lions Talk at the SWC. The Sausalito Woman's Club (SWC) will host a talk about living with mountain lions at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 2. This event is sponsored by SWC's Sustainability Committee. Dr. Quentin Martins has studied the movement of mountain lions fitted with GPS collars in the North Bay to better understand mountain lion ecology, connectivity, and challenges these enigmatic animals face in our fragmented landscape. Dr. Martins partners with All Hands Ecology and Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue to address and mitigate human–mountain lion conflict. Admission is free.
