Join Sausalito Historical Society Board Member Rip Hunter for a thoughtful journey through 250 years of war & peace in Sausalito and Marin. From the peaceful Coast Miwok, to foreign warships on the bay, Marin’s role in the Bear Flag Revolt, the Navy in Old Town, the Army forts, artillery batteries and Nike missiles in our Headlands, and much more. This talk follows the full arc of war & peace at home.
No-host bar will be open; snacks provided.
