Bacchus & Venus: Sausalito's Premier Wine Destination Since 2002

Located on bustling Bridgeway in the heart of Sausalito, just a stone’s throw from the historic ferry dock, Bacchus & Venus has been the area's family-owned wine tasting room, wine shop, and bar for over 24 years. We attract international tourists, city day trippers, hotel guests, and locals alike. Since 2002, we have specialized in offering a curated selection of California’s best high-quality, small-production wines and, more recently, a limited number of carefully selected bottles from wine regions around the world.

Visit our lively wine bar for frequent events and daily tastings. All the wines in the shop are also available to-go by the bottle as well. For private occasions, our nearly "secret" second-floor lounge is an ideal event space for intimate parties, corporate functions, and friendly gatherings over a bottle of wine.

The Bacchus & Venus Wine Club

Elevate your home cellar with our outstanding Wine Club. Each month, members receive two curated bottles from small-production, boutique California vintners. Available for local pickup or delivery to most US states, you can select from various subscription options or fully customize your membership. We pride ourselves on featuring exclusive, hard-to-find selections that members would rarely discover on their own.
