In 2025, the Golden Gate Bridge District provided funding to the City of Sausalito for the reconstruction of the ferry landing. The City added funds resulting in a beautiful plaza and tree lined promenade leading from downtown to the water. Filled with lounging furniture and café tables and chairs, the plaza and promenade allow visitors and residents to relax, breath the sea air, soak up the sun and experience the spectacular views of San Francisico and the Bay Area.
